PNBend<\/a> is WiCAM\u2019s manufacturer-independent bending simulation software for the offline programming of press brakes. Bending programmes can be created centrally in the work preparation department and adapted for use on different machines and control systems. Press brakes from numerous manufacturers are supported, including the CoastOne G-Series, as shown in this video:<\/p>\n

PNBend supports the entire programming process for press brake operations. This includes determining suitable bending sequences, selecting the appropriate tools and carrying out a feasibility check on the component. This means it is possible to verify, even before production begins, whether the component can be manufactured using the intended machine, tooling and bending sequence.<\/p>\n

The component can also be unfolded directly using PNBend. The relevant draw values are taken into account, so that practical blanking patterns for the subsequent bending operation can be generated and transferred to the digital manufacturing process.<\/p>\n

For every connected press brake, PNBend generates the appropriate NC texts and control-specific programmes. This allows machines from different manufacturers to be programmed centrally using a single software package. These include, amongst others, press brakes from TRUMPF<\/a>, Bystronic<\/a>, LVD<\/a>, SafanDarley<\/a>, Prima Power<\/a>, Durma<\/a> and CoastOne<\/a>.<\/p>\n
