Different systems for cutting, bending and CAD data led to additional coordination effort, manual intervention and potential for errors. As part of the project, LTsoft, as an official WiCAM partner, took charge of the introduction and customisation of the PN4000 programming system. Today, LAMIERPRESS uses WiCAM for programming both its cutting systems and press brakes.<\/p>\n<p>The result: a unified programming environment that covers the entire process from CAD model to finished component \u2013 without any disruption in workflow. A key factor in the project\u2019s success was the close collaboration with LTsoft. In addition to implementation, the software was specifically adapted to LAMIERPRESS\u2019s processes. Furthermore, a QR code system for production feedback was integrated \u2013 enabling simple and error-free recording of production progress in real time.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-82172 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/wicam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/biegen-300x278.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"278\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wicam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/biegen-300x278.png 300w, https:\/\/wicam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/biegen-768x712.png 768w, https:\/\/wicam.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/biegen.png 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>PNBend \u2022 From the 3D model straight to production<\/h2>\n<p>A key component is the processing of 3D data. Clear improvements are particularly evident in the area of nesting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>faster programme creation<\/li>\n<li>more precise nesting<\/li>\n<li>a noticeable reduction in material waste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The machine park \u2013 consisting of a fibre laser, a plasma cutting system and several press brakes \u2013 is now controlled via a common software platform.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"btn\" href=\"https:\/\/wicam.com\/en\/cadcam-nesting-software\/pn4000\/\">2D programming<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Scrap sheet management<\/h2>\n<p>A further advantage is the structured management of scrap material.
