Programming facades with WiCAM

Ebener Fassaden-Profiltechnik produces high-quality aluminium facades for buildings of all kinds. Aluminium facades protect the substance of buildings for decades. Digitally planned, there are almost no limits to shapes and colours.

WiCAM´s PN4000 generates the nesting plans and CNC programmes for the Trumpf punch laser machines (TruPunch 5000 and TruMatic 7000) and the Maka milling centre from the customer’s designs and CAD files based on them. Data is exchanged via CAD drawings and Excel documents for quantities and parametric components.

Denis Sohlbach, commercial manager when asked why Ebener chose WiCAM: “We decided on WiCAM in 2007 because the previous programming system was not strong enough to grow with our machine park. It was particularly important to us that we no longer have isolated solutions, but a programming system for all machines. Furthermore, our façades cannot be produced on an assembly line because they are always individual. Accordingly, we were faced with the challenge of automating individual production areas and excluding individual production steps. WiCAM offered us the perfect solution here.”
