The latest version of WiCAM’s PN4000 offers an interesting additional option for creating parametric components.

In the example shown, a simple component geometry is first sketched using pen and paper. The drawing is then photographed and the image is fed into a standard AI system. The AI then generates the appropriate JavaScript code for the geometry.
The generated JavaScript code can be loaded directly into PN4000. The component is then immediately available as a variant and can be further customised using the variant function.
Dimensions and parameters can be modified directly in PN4000. The function is available for both 2D and 3D. This provides an additional way to quickly create geometries and reuse them directly as variable components in PN4000. The component can then be further processed in PN4000 as usual and prepared for manufacturing, for example for laser cutting, punching or bending.
