From 20 to 23 October 2026, WiCAM will be showcasing the latest developments in its CAD/CAM, nesting, bending and cloud software for the sheet metal working industry at EuroBLECH in Hanover, on stand J135 in Hall 11.
For WiCAM, EuroBLECH 2026 also marks a special anniversary: the company is celebrating 40 years of software development for sheet metal working. Since 1986, WiCAM has been developing manufacturer-independent solutions for automated CNC programming and the digital control of manufacturing processes.
At the center of the booth is the new version of PN4000, which optimizes data processing. 2D and 3D data are managed in a single system; 3D formats such as STEP are automatically imported and verified via integrated bending simulation. The Power Nesting module also enables high material utilization and efficient production planning.
One of the most significant advances concerns the technical foundation of PN4000: the internal database structure has been completely redesigned. This overcomes several limitations of existing structures and, at the same time, creates a more stable foundation for future expansions.
For users, the new architecture is particularly noticeable where large amounts of data are automatically processed. Orders, components, materials, machining information, and NC data can be transferred more consistently within the system.
The PN4000 Power Nesting module has been continuously refined over the past twelve months. The focus is not only on material utilization: the number of sheets required, the number of generated NC programs, and the actual production flow are also becoming increasingly important.

Especially with high-speed fiber lasers, productivity is no longer determined by cutting time alone. Unloading parts, organizing nesting plans, and subsequent work steps influence the entire production process. Therefore, Power Nesting takes into account the different production requirements in automatic nesting and has been optimized in numerous details.
WiCAM is constantly expanding its machine connectivity to support current generations of systems and controls from various manufacturers. New postprocessors have recently been developed for the HSG X2512 with CypCut control, the TRUMPF TruMatic 5000 (K11), the TRUMPF TruLaser Series 3000 Bevel Cut Edition, DNE laser machines with CypCut control, the Dallan EXN600, and the Hymson HyLaser PRO series, among others. PN4000 can thus be flexibly deployed in modern multi-manufacturer machine parks.
PNBend | Sheet Metal Unfolding and Bending SimulationPNBend was updated in 2026, significantly improving its calculation capabilities and finding a valid automatic solution. The module processes 3D component data, manages automatic sheet metal unfolding, and prepares parts for the subsequent bending phase.
The updates have specifically expanded the unfolding and bending functions. The new PNBend Bend Viewer is also available, allowing for rapid visualization of components and bending information on the machine, simplifying checks during job preparation. The combination of 3D data processing, unfolding, bending simulation, and machine programming is a key element of WiCAM’s integrated CAD/CAM strategy.
At EuroBLECH 2026, PNCalculate will be presented with a redesigned user interface and significantly expanded API and cloud capabilities. The cloud-based quoting software for sheet metal components underwent targeted development in the first half of the year and now offers even more flexible support for automated costing processes, as well as integration into existing digital sales and production workflows.

PNCalculate functions can be integrated directly into online shops, ERP systems or in-house digital platforms via our API interface. This enables manufacturing companies to automate costing processes and process enquiries more quickly.
At EuroBLECH 2026, WiCAM will therefore be showcasing a software suite that integrates costing, 3D data processing, nesting, bending and CNC programming into a seamless process chain. The focus is on robust data structures, a high degree of automation and the flexible integration of a wide variety of machines.
