Successful Start in the Year

After the record year 2019, we are pleased that we have started this year with continued high demand for our CAD/CAM software solutions.

The highlight in the first quarter has been the commissioning by the HÖRMANN Group to equip two further plants in Poland and China with PN4000 and PNControl. The HÖRMANN Group uses WiCAM at 6 locations worldwide.

We’ve responded to Corona. As an IT company we have been using digital possibilities for years. As a result of the Corona virus, we have brought forward planned investments to expand these areas and expect a significant increase in efficiency in the future.

An essential component was to reduce the effort for the commissioning on site to a minimum. Accordingly, we focused on optimizing the installation process. Steps that used to be carried out on site at the customer’s premises during the installation process were shifted to the home office for the majority of employees. One example of this was the configuration and commissioning by remote installation at Hieselaar in the Netherlands. Furthermore, since the beginning of March, we have only been training our users online. We expect this trend to continue.

We are expecting an economically difficult time. Already last year we expanded our team of developers to further develop our software solutions and thus to develop today the CAD/CAM solutions of tomorrow.
