In spring 2026, WiCAM developed a new post-processor for the Dallan EXN600 punching machine. This makes it possible for the first time to control machines from this manufacturer entirely via our PN4000 programming system and to integrate them efficiently into existing production processes.

The first machine of this type has already been successfully commissioned at a customer site in France. The implementation was carried out by WiCAM France SAS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the WiCAM Group. The new post-processor expands the scope of application for PN4000. Users can create and optimise EXN600 punching processes within a unified programming environment and transfer them directly to the machine. This ensures the reliable implementation of complex machining strategies as well as end-to-end digitalisation of production. Particular emphasis is placed on WiCAM’s integrated CAD/CAM strategy.
In addition to traditional 2D programming of cutting and punching processes, WiCAM offers comprehensive solutions worldwide for 3D programming, particularly in the field of press brakes. The modular functions and interfaces of our PN4000 programming system enable flexible contract manufacturing right through to unmanned, fully automated process chains in industrial production.
PN4000 Benefits
Furthermore, PN4000 can be used for all leading manufacturers and sheet metal processing methods, including punching, laser, plasma, waterjet, bending and milling technologies. This enables maximum flexibility when integrating a wide variety of machines into modern production environments worldwide.
