Programming time reduced at Ronge

Started in a garage, Ronge Profiltechnik GmbH became one of the top global manufacturers for facades in just a few decades. In the work preparation WiCAM has been a building brick of the success story for many years.

Especially with high order intake or complex large projects, the strengths of the interfaces to the ERP system Beosys, as well as to the CAD systems Solidworks and MegaCAD become apparent.

Plant manager Alen Ljuhar gives us a brief insight into the company: “We have eliminated the bottleneck ‘work preparation’ with PN4000. Today we have any order quantities programmed automatically, and distributed to our machines.”

The raw material is first CNC lasered, punched, milled or sawn. Ronge uses a Trumpf TruPunch 3000, a TruMatic 6000 and a Maka PM 270 for this.

Controlled machines:

• 1 x Trumpf TruPunch 3000
• 1 x Trumpf TruMatic 6000
• 1 x Maka PM270 Milling centre

WiCAM automatically creates the NC texts for this process according to ERP/CAD specifications, calculates run times and documents the process steps. This is done in real time so that even with high production utilisation, every deadline is met – and the administrative effort always remains low.
